Help with inverse plot on x axis

I need to control the layout of the x axis such that it reads non evenly spaced ticks for inverted temperature.

I have an temperature array of 298 to 3250 I inverted the array and reversed the direction of the axis.

I want to label the x axis the following way

1/298 1/667 1/1036 1/1405 ... 1/3250

Is there a good way do to this other than manually change the x axis labels?
