"I designed a network that distinguishes between the sexes, men and women."

That would be a tremendous scientific advance that would very much contradict a considerable amount current research. Will you be publishing your results in a peer reviewed journal?

MR Geoff Hayes , I designed a nervous convolutional network that discriminated between the sexes and trained them, but if I wanted to summon them on the web as I could verify them and operate them I couldn't get me wrong on the last line only.

What is your code to read from webcam, and what error message are you getting?

It sounds as if you are trying to distinguish between men and women using images of people rather than using FMRI or chromosome tests or gene tests. Image based methods are known to have a minimum failure rate of 3%, and (with current best technology) a failure rate exceeding 20% on non-white people.

What exactly doesn't run?

It sounds like you have already perfected a neural network program that snaps an image of a person and predicts whether that person is male or female, and it works fine on your development computer.

And now you want to deploy it to a web site so that any random person at any random computer anywhere in the world can use their own webcam to snap their photo, upload it to your website where your MATLAB code will tell them whether the face in the photo is male or female. Is that right?

Hmmm... if Image Analyst is right, then unless you are creating a .exe using MATLAB Compiler for people to download and run, if you are writing a webapp to run on a server, then the webcam interface code would have nothing to do with the regular MATLAB webcam interface. Instead you would be needing to use HTML or javascript or java to ask the user's browser to send you an image. https://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/getusermedia/intro/ suggests the javascript navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia() function.
