How to attach code here?

Sorry I think this is a silly question.. but i cant...I need to clear mistakes in my code.. So i have to attach code here.. but am clicking code and write near %code... but its not display like code, it wont go to next next line, the code seems like paragraph.... So pls say how to do?

Make sure there is a blank line before your code. Then highlight all of it, and click {}Code. It will format it all as code, even when there are blank lines in the highlighted code.

You're meant to type/paste code directly into your post along with the other text. The "{} Code" icon will add formatting/markup to text you highlight, making it look like code.
