How to remove grid lines from a plot

Hey I am trying to show just saturation distribution without the grid cell lines showing. Tried grid off , and 'EdgeColor', 'none' but still showing the grid cell lines
Please help...

Use shading interp after plotting the mesh.

Thanks, I figured a way to fix it directly on the plot, right click and go to line styles, chose none and the grids are off.
