cubic spline on sphere surface.

hi all,
I have 4 points on the earth surface (or 2 points and both tangents at these points) and i'd like to fit a cubic (hermite) spline as a function of latitude - longitude. This interpolation should stay on the surface (constant radius). do you have any idea ?
thank

What does the spherical shape of the earth have to do with anything? You have an array of 2D lat/long data. Why not just use interp2(...,'cubic') or griddedInterpolant to interpolate it?
