Hi, for my homework assignment we have to fill in the question marks for piecewise polynomial interpolation. I am unsure what the first two would be. Can anyone help?

Fill in the question marks? Do you mean write comments about what the code section is doing?

The first one looks like a bunch of assignment statements to me. What reason could there be to have assignment statements in a program?
