Does my license currently include Simscape Multibody?

23 次查看(过去 30 天)
I currently have licenses for Simscape, Matlab and Coder for both (License #40592156). Do I need to buy another license for Simscape Multibody? Or is it already included in my purchased licenses? Thanks.
Jim

Simscape Multibody is a separate toolbox other than Simscape. You can run "ver" in Command Window to see if you have "Simscape Multibody" installed.

Hi,
You can find the local license file by bringing up Matlab and searching in your C:\Users\<user_name> folder for *.lic file. Open the file and search on "product =". This will tell you which products you are licensed for.
Network license files are typically stored in the
C:\apps\MATLAB\<Matlab version>\licenses folder. If you haven't used the default install path, you can susbstitue <your path> for C:\apps\MATLAB\
As you've noted above, you can't view the products on a network license and will have to call your Matlab administrator or Mathworks. Logging into your Mathworks account and going to My Account, Link License only provides a list of license numbers that are linked to your account, not any details about what products are activated under them.
Thanks for helping me find the answer to my question though. I never thought to look in the *.lic file as I assumed that it would be encoded or a binary.

Hi,
One quick correction to my above comment. If you log into your Matworks account, under My Software, all of your licenses will be listed. If you click on a license number (under License), you'll be taken to a new page. Look under Product to see all products and add ons for that license number.
