Can i generate MEX File from 32bit C source code using codegen?

hi,
I have a 32 bit C code that i want to use in new versions of MATLAB(64BIT)
can i compile a 64bit mex from a 32 bit C Code using codegen?
(i cant touch the c code)
i seen there is a flag in the mex function -compatibleArrayDims that might help but is absent from codegen. is there some altarnative to use that flag in codegen? and is it relevant anyway?
