MATLAB Activation when ethernet keeps changing

I am using Matlab on a machine where the ethernet interface (and its MAC address) needs to change frequently, which is causing a problem with Matlab since it uses the ethernet interface MAC address as the host ID for licensing purposes. Is there a workaround where I can get the license to recognize multiple MAC addresses or use a different source for its host ID?
OS: Ubuntu 18.04.4
Matlab version: 2020a
