Is it possible to import .mat files into AppDesigner?

Hi everybody,
I have created a Software GUI using App Designer with evalin function.
Therefore, I would like to import mat-file (filename.mat) before run AppDesigner
and also i would like to compile it with mat file.
How can i do it?
