Hi why don't you just use http://www.mathworks.in/matlabcentral/fileexchange/31900-edfread

Hi... Isn't it necessary first to load the files to the workspace? the explanation in the link says"Reads data from ALL RECORDS of file fname ('*.edf')." I don't know what is meant by "ALL RECORDS". Please help if you know. Thanks.
