Edit the txt file second column ONLY and save as same format

I want to edit (minus 20dB) only in the second column and others I don't want to change anything and I want to save as same txt format style
can you guide me in the code?

Hi Venkat,
You can read the txt file in the form of table,then you can perform the changes you want in the text file on the table,then save back table to text file.
You can refer to this link to create a table.

You can slightly modify the code given by Image Analyst in that thread and make the changes without creating the table
