Colouring stacked bar chart

Hi,
Is there a way to make it so that different sections of the bar are filled differently? Ideally I'd like to make a part of the bar hatched or similar (something that retains the colour) to indicate some information - is this possible?

Try Brandon Levey's Hatch fill patterns plus Color & Invert
Example:
Y = [5 1 2
8 3 7
9 6 8
5 5 5
4 2 3];
bar(Y,'stack')
colormap(summer)
applyhatch_pluscolor(gcf,'\/|',true)
