Parrot Minidrone with Flypad

I‘m planning a new project with a quadcopter and for that I‘m thinking about the Parrot Mambo Minidrone. But I want to develop the flight algorithm by myself. In general this is possible with Matlab / Simulink in combination with the Hardware Support Package. https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/parrot-minidrones.html
With that it is possible to develop the algorithm and directly interact with the drone and download the code with Simulink. For example you can use a flight Controller Interface or the keyboard to control the drone. What I want to know is if the Parrot Flytab could also be used with Simulink Code ?
