how to use changeclass function in IPT ?

I want to use intrans function for intensity transformation of a color image. the function intrans(I,'neg') doesn't work where I is my image. how could i use changeclass function to make it work?

intrans is not part of any Mathworks product. There is an intrans which is part of "Digital Image Processing, Using MATLAB". There is a link to changeclass() in this tutorial
