how to connect a variable resistor from simscape library to simpowersystems model..

If you are using blocks from simpowersystems library, you can use surge arrester block as variable resistor. but In case if you are using blocks from simscape-> physical modelling ->elctrical models -> variable resistor block, you can refer this:
