I am running the example 11.10 using matlab v2020a and am getting the message:
The Fixed-Point Designer must be available to construct an MFILT.CICINTERP filter.
The book describes its requirements as DSP, Communications and Signal Processing toolboxes.
Now, do I need to buy another toolbox?

Fixed-Point Designer provides data types and tools for optimizing and implementing fixed-point and floating-point algorithms on embedded hardware. As mfilt.cicinterp uses fixed-point arithmetic, you can download the Fixed-Point Designer from the given link.
