No parallel toolbox in R2019a matlab toolbox folder

Hello,

I just installed R2019a on my computer. I installed Parallel Computing toolbox but I do not see it in the toolbox folder. I re-ran the installer and it said my computer already has Parallel Computing toolbox but I still do not see it. I need it to make mex files. Would someone know why this is happening?

Why are you looking for the folder itself? Are the functions not working?

Prior to release R2019b the name of the folder in which Parallel Computing Toolbox functions are stored was distcomp, not parallel. Do you see toolbox\distcomp under matlabroot?

But in order to create a MEX-file you should only need MATLAB itself for the mex function.
