Wait for function to finish executing

Hello,

I am programming an app i App designer. This app should be able to run different functions with different inputs. I have made the inputs as Edit fields and the different functions executes when pressing a button. Now I can press a button and the function is executed and I can change values and press the buttons however I like and all these actions are queued. I want the program to "freeze" so I have to wait for a function to finish before I can change values and execute new functions. I read that if using waitfor callbacks can still run.

In addition to Walter's suggestion, if the button is the only thing that triggers the callback function, you can disable the button immediately, at the top of the callback function, and then enable it again when the callback function completes.
