How to modify "ax = axes(___)" function

I want to modify this string of code

ax =axes('NextPlot', 'add',...
    'XTick', [],...
    'YTick', []);

But I want to apply on the specified axes (in gui)

for example: axes1, axes2... etc.

How to modify...
