Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble installing Matlab Runtime, getting the following error:

-- No Java Runtime Environment(JRE) was found on this system.

I type mcrinstaller and get:

-- The GLNXA64 MCR Installer, version 7.14, is: "home/<myUsrNm>/MATLAB/toolbox/compiler....

I'm using 2010 Matlab(64) version on a RedHat 8 64.

When typing java -version on Matlab cmd:

Java 1.6.0_17-bo4 with Sun Microsystems Inc. Java HotSpot™ 64-bit Server VM mixed mode.

When typing the same in SOcmd:

java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_251-b08) Java Hotspot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.251-b08, mixed mode)

When echo $JAVA_HOME:

/usr/java/jre1.8.0_251-amd64

It seems that it comes from a incompability java versions error but I don't know either how to get older versions than jre8 on the official oracle website and how to 'update' java version using by Matlab. (I am not even sure if this is the actual problem).

Any help would be really appreciate!
