reading attribute values of entities which are in queue

Hi,
I try dynamic simulation with matlab embeded codes using simulink. I need to attributes values of entities which stay in queue. When new entity arrive to queue or any entity departs from queue this data must be up to date. I use this in put in my optimization algorithm with the embeded codes. How can get this up to date inputs at the any time ?
