Count time while a program is running

Hello, i would like to know if there is any function that counts the time that a program spends while he is running. I'm doing some exercises and it would be useful for me to check how much time the program spends.

Try tic and toc in your code,
tic;
% Some code....
toc;
or else try the profiling code on the pulldown menu.
