How can I plot GOES-16 data on a globe plot

I am trying to plot "full disk" imagery of GOES-16 data on an earth globe. Ideally I would to plot it in a geocentric satellite projection. I am familiar with the orthographic projection in the mapping toolbox but this does not seem to ask for the satellite altitude. Any suggestions would be helpful
