how to use third party driver in raspberry matlab?

I am using raspberry with matlab, I just want to use my desktop computer to communicate with my raspberry through wifi, and raspberry to send the sensor data to my desktop and control 2 dc-motor.(it is a model car with camera).
can matlab call the driver ? or ask raspberry to do so. there is a third party driver to control a dc-motor, they give me python interface, and some *.o file.
I do not know how to call such interface in matlab. So my question is how to run python script in matlab, or *.o file in matlab?(matlab control raspberry to do some control moter)
