Finding daily maximum & minimum temperature; and time when maximum & minimum temperature occurs

I have hourly temperatur data for years. Now I need to find daily maximum & minimum temperature; and time when maximum & minimum temperature occurs.
I don't know how to do that. Any kind of help would be appreciable. Thanks.

It seems to me that something like this reformats your temperature data right and extracts the daily peak temperature and its "hour-index":
[NUM,TXT,RAW]=xlsread('Hourly Temperature.xlsx');
imagesc(reshape(NUM(:,2),24,[]))
T = reshape(NUM(:,2),24,[]);
[Tmax,iTmax] = max(T);
hold on
plot(iTmax,'r*')
