You can use HDL Coder to generate HDL code from your MATLAB functions. See HDL Code Generation from MATLAB.

Thanks Kasturba. I worked with HDL coder once. It generated real values which are not synthesizable by xilinx. Hence i feel difficult in this part. Could you explain me how to avoid that unsynthesizable parts.
