３次元画像（Nifti file）での距離測定

当方、MRIcron上で作成した3次元の神経線維とMNI座標の距離（最短距離）を測定したいと考えております。
Matlabを利用し測定することは可能でしょうか？また、方法につきましてもご教示いただけますと幸いです。
