nrCDLchannel usage in "NR PDSCH Throughput" Example

Hi at all,
I'm using the NR PDSCH Throughput example and I have a doubt about the nrCDLchannel object usage. In particular I don't understand how the Tx antenna pattern is take into account and if there is any way to modify the pattern according to an external antenna pattern file.

% Pass data through channel model. Append zeros at the end of the
% transmitted waveform to flush channel content. These zeros take
% into account any delay introduced in the channel. This is a mix
% of multipath delay and implementation delay. This value may
% change depending on the sampling rate, delay profile and delay
