How to plot this on matlab

I got this figure in GIS by plotting average rainfall value for 12 grid points . Grid points are actually the centre points of those grids. I want to plot the same thing on matlab. Is there any code to plot this. Only thing I have is the data and shape file.

Thank you sir, I was able to run that code but I have one more doubt. My final figure looks like this, Iam not able to see the borders of my study area. I removed borders command from the code because my study area is very small.If borders('India') command is used in code it will look like this.

But I want to see the borders of my study area also in this figure. Just see the attachement , I want those boundaries of my study area in the above figure. Thanks in advance

Sir, I just used the command geoshow('uppergodavari.shp'). I need something like this. pls help
