GUI - out of Memory problem

I am developing a GUI based application, wherin 3 GUIs interact with each other. The volume of data used is huge and so often i get a "OUT OF MEMORY" error. 'Clear and 'pack' can be used only for workspace variable. Is there anyway to manage memory for GUI data.
