How can I break down my Simulink model into smaller parts and allow multiple cores to process the model?

Hi,
I have a Simulink model largely based on SimPower. I have a multi-core CPU and would like to make use of the multiple cores to run the simulations. What would be the best way to do this?
I read online and I know parfor can't perform this as it is not independent.
Thanks in advance :)

You could try modeling for concurrent execution as described in this demo. This way you could utilize multiple cores.
