Fitting data to a differential equation with an objective function

After solving an arbitary set of differential equations (using ode45) I would like to compare the data generated to experimental data and fit the experimental data to the differential equations. The objective function will be the difference between the experimental and model data. parameters are to be adjusted so that the objective function is a minimum.
