Maze Solving using morphological reconstruction

I need help completing/fixing my script. I have seen the other maze solutions already, but I don't need most of the color plane stuff and it uses some functions that we haven't learned yet so we cant use them. Using morphological reconstruction, solve the mazes (find an algorithm to solve a variety of mazes).
Please let me know why this wont show me the solution path. The function at the beginning must stay.
