select and tag data points in a plot

Greetings all,

I would like to plot location data from an array structure with multiple fields, then I want the user to select a given data point from the plot and load related array data, this is how my structure looks like

Block(i).Data.Longitude
Block(i).Data.Latitude
Block(i).Data.Sequence
Block(i).Data.Temperature

I tried using datacursor but it gives the x-y coordinates only, while what I need is the sequence number as well to differentiate between different sets. So is there a way to kind of "tag" the data points with the sequence field, or to be able to get more data from the data points when they are selected ??? I'm using guide to make the GUI.
