Output Jacobian function is not matrix

Hello to everybody,
I have to use the "jacobian" function in Matlab and the output not seems a matrix. How can i have J like a matrix in the classic form?
X=sym('X',[3 1]);
y=myfunction(X);
J=jacobian(y,X);

What you have is a SYMBOLIC matrix.
