content based image retrieval

sir,in content based image retrieval I have applied 2d dual tree discrete wavelet transform to 1000 images in my database and extracted their features and I have developed the feature vector database also.Now I have a problem in retrieval process I don't know how to retrieve a image from the database,please tell as how to retrieve the relevant image from the database.I have also tried Euclidean distance for two images but I don't know how to proceed it further for 1000 images.please give some idea about it.

You can find the distance between the test image and each image in the database, and then retrieve the one which is "closest"
