How to step through While Loop in Simulink?

Simulink doesn't stop in at desired conditional breakpoint inside the While Loop. It even say it hit the value, but it never pauses is in the minor step.
How to debug While loops efficiently without ability to pause simulation?

Breakpoints can be added to a particular signal using the Add Breakpoint option, under the Debug tab.

is there the possiblity to debug the iteration within the iteration counter within one time step in the while loop?
