gray level differences features

Hi dear all I would like to know how can I calculate gray level differences features like mean,contras,kurtosis,... from an image.Actually I found GLDM function but I don't know how to calculate the features from it,because it's result is 4 pdfs? I will be appreciated if someone guide me. Thank you
