How i generate two dimensional membership function and plot it?

i have tried 1D membership function and plot it. like trapezoidal, gaussian, bell etc. these are one dimensional. for example
x=0:.1:100; y=trapmf(x,[10 30 56 78]); plot(x,y);
to generate and plot 1D trapezoidal membership function
now how can i plot two dimensional mf.
plz help.

hi,
there are many ways , you can find them in Tutorials...but for fast way :
x=0:0.1:10;
y=trapmf(x,[1 5 7 8]);
z=y'*y;
surf(z)
