ECG signal analysis using MATLAB

I have imported an ecg file (ecgdemodata.mat) to the matlab workspace and got the plot. Now i want to analyse the plot so that i can detect abnormalities in the ecg signal (P wave abnormalities, QRS complex abnormalities,etc). How do i do that ?... please help.

Can you not use the techniques you learned from your previous question http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/answers/104691-i-need-to-plot-the-eeg-in-matlab-i-have-downloaded-the-data-base-which-is-in-txt-format-bt-i-am ? You would change the file name in the load(), but then you would need to know the variable name.
