writing a image to folder

I want to write a image to folder,i have did as
pickind='bmp'
path ='E:\rh4frames\';
files = dir(fullfile(path,'*.jpg'));
image = ((imread(fullfile(path,files(2).name))));
%%some process
strtemp=strcat('E:\rh4frames\',int2str(2),'.',pickind);
imwrite(new_image1,strtemp)
i have taken 2nd image from folder done some operation and want to replace this this into the folder,in which image was read say 2,the second image must be replaced my this modified image
please help

strtemp = fullfile(path, ['2.',pickind]);
Or if you want to overwrite the original,
strtemp = fullfile(path, files(2).name);
