how to define 3D coordinates in matlab?

i wish to define 2 3D coordinates say (X1, Y1, Z1) and (X2, Y2, Z2). how to define these points?
if i write
(X1, Y1, Z1)= (5, 6, 2);
then it shows parse error . please let me know

hi,
one variable can store n dimensional coordinates :
P=[5 6 2];
or you can split them into n parts :
p1=5;
p2=6;
p3=2;
plot3(p1,p2,p3,'*');
plot3(P(1),P(2),P(3),'*')
