Hello, i have been given this code, which from this i obtain some data on the command window. My task is to visualize the data and change the amplitude to 1, also i need to plot the frequency spectrum as well, can anyone help me on the coding i need to use? i am really confused

Have you read through the code? Lines 3-4 in your first image seems to provide important information:
"You do not need to know the details about the function or how it works. Treat it as a blackbox."
This to me suggests that you can complete your assignment without having to dig into the code.
For help with plotting, I suggest going through Ch 9 of MATLAB Onramp.
