how i can remove a branch from a matpower?

hi ... suppose you want to remove a branch from a grid such as case30 and then run the opf. how you can do this? because in this status the Z of that branch must be unlimited. it is not important that some of load not supply and but i need to know what was the format of answer of power flow.
