Use Matlab Student version to teaches MATLAB Engine API for Python

Hi, I'm a PHD student and I'm teaching a free online Python course for my university community (and external community). I want to show to my students the integration between Matlab and Python. I have a Matlab student version, but I use it just for assigments and in my research. I'm in doubty if it is possible to show the integration between MATLAB and Python using MATLAB Engine API for Python (In fact, I just want to call a Matlab function in jupyter notebook using this API).

Is the teaching of this course somehow related to completing the requirement of your degree? If yes, then it is likely allowed; otherwise, only a Mathworks representative can give the correct answer.
