Unfamiliar activation label format

Looking at the licensing web page for my company's MATlab licenses I noticed that one of the licenses had an "Activation Label" format had changed from the MAC address of the installation to the format '99999-99999-99999-99999-99999.'
What does this signify? Is there a way to get identifying information about the PC it is installed on out of this?
