Histogram and Normalized Histogram for an Image

I have an image
and I want a read it first
after that making histogram and normalized histogram for this image
how I can do it?

Hi Wadee.
Check out imread function for reading an image and imhist function to plot the image histogram. I am not sure if you want a normalized histogram or do a histogram equilization. Either case check out this link for normalization and for equalization there are quite a lot of function available in MATLAB like histeq and adapthisteq.
