I am intending to design a fuzzy logic controller to enable me produce a pulse that activates 1 of 3 phases every 30 degres for 90 degrees. However, I need an estimate of rotor speed before I apply fuzzy logic. Can anyone help?

Starting from torque, T = T(em) - T(L) = J*((dw)/(dt)); where: T(em) = electromagnetic torque T(L) = load torque J = moment of inertia w = speed in rads/second Before starting on fuzzy logic, I have to use a look-up table to obtain the torque values. the 2D lookup table of MATLAB R2012a needs an input of AMpere Turns (vertical parameters) and that of angle displacement (row parameters). I have failed to configure these, does anyone have experience with look-up tables?
