problem while mosaicing a retina image

Hi everyone...
I am doing retina image mosaicing project using sift algorithm here normal images detecting the many key points features but when i read the retina images its not detecting features so i couldn't get required hessian matrix for mosaicing. so any one can give me suggestion for this problem or any good link about this.

it would be useful if you provide some images you are working with, so that someone can think of helping you. Please consider sharing some images on tinypic/dropbox et al.
